Students at MSU Billings living in outlying counties should get ready for the dorm life. Housing and Residential Life at MSU Billings has decided to remove on-campus housing exemptions for students living in six surrounding counties for the upcoming school year.Now, the housing af1 department will only allow the on-campus exemption for Yellowstone County students, if they re living with a parent or guardian. We are a unique campus because we have students who drive an hour or more to get to school. We decided to change the exemption for the safety of our students during the winter months when roads can become dangerous, said Associate Dean of Student Engagement Aaron Like. Counties that are no longer fit the requirement are Carbon, Stillwater, Big Horn, Musselshell, Treasure and Golden Valley counties.
