BETHESDA, Md. 鈥?Montgomery County Police are looking for a man accused of running a car repair scam.Police say 33-year-old Archie Valdo Thompson would approach victims in a white pickup truck, and claim to have the stanley thermosflasche ability to fix car dents on the spot, for a fee.Victims described Thompson as intimidating, and said he would get angry if they declined his services.When he would finish, the witnesses recall Thompson dema stanley us nding more money than initially quoted, despite their cars being left in worse shape than before.Most incidents occurred last year between July and October, on parking lots the Bethesda area.So far investigators have identified four victims, who paid Thompson a combined $1,850.00.Thompson is currently wanted on multiple counts of theft, malicious destruction of property, and operating a vehicle repair business without a license.If you were a victim or have any stanley tazas information, call detectives at 240-773-6726.
