Long exposure photography is plenty awes owala water bottle ome on its own. But pair it with a staff that lights up according to how strong Wi-Fi signal is and you get something even more illuminating: a picture of what Wi-Fi networks really look like. https://gizmodo/74-mesmerizing-slow-shutter-shots-5411177  The 12-foot rod, designed by tinkerers Timo Arnall, J酶rn Knutsen, and Einar Sneve Martinussen, has 80 LED lights that pulse higher and lower with the strength of a given network. When combined with long-exposure photography, it uncovers the invisible world of Wi-Fi. Their first tests were conducted over the course of three weeks and mapped out the networks of Oslo. The strength, consistency and reach of the network says something about the built environment where it is set up, as well as reflecting the size and status of the host. Small, domestic networks in old apartment buildings flow into the streets in different ways than the networks of large institutions. Dense residential areas have more, but shorter range networks than parks and campuses. The group hopes to expand their work and Martinussen is writing a book on the relationship between phyical landscapes and digital experiences. I encourage them to rewire their staff for 3G and come map AT 038;T   ne owala water bottle twork here i nike air force n New York City for their second case study. Ruling against the owala canada  RealNetworks in the trial of sooo last century, a feder yeti al judge said that it was illegal to sell or make DVD copying software under the DMCA. But what about actually ripping DVDs yourself  https://gizmodo/realnetworks-barred-from-selling-realdvd-ever-again-5060948 When it comes to making personal copies, U.S. District Court Judge Marilyn Hall Patel left that totally gray鈥攖hat is, she chose not to rock the boat on whether or not making personal copies actually falls under the fair use doctrine of the DMCA. Lots of mays and whiles in there: So while it may well be fair use for an individual consumer to store a backup copy of a personally owned DVD on that individual   computer, a federal law has nonetheless made it illegal to manufacture or traffic in a device or tool that permits a consumer to make such copies. So DVD ripping is kind of like laws about pot in some places: It   sorta legal to possess in certain circumstances, but not kosher to sell it. Thanks for clearing that up, judge. What that means for Real owala tumbler , and their long-term plans鈥攁 box that archives DVDs鈥攊s even murkier.
