Skeletal remains which were discovered in Panola County in East Texas back in July have been identified as belonging to a woman who went missing in 2019, authorities announced Tuesday. Dental records were used to identify the remains as those of Lauren Thompson, Panola County Sheriff Cutter Clinton said in a news conference.Sheriff s investigators worked with the Texas Rangers Division and forensic anthropologists from the Center for Human Identification at the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth to make the ident stanley cups ification, Clinton disclosed.There stanley cup was no word on a possible cause of death. She allegedly told emergency dispatchers that she felt someone was coming after her.The sheriff s office reported that it was able to track where the call came from, according to KYTX. Hawaii tourism officials are hoping Kilauea s eruption won t deter travelers from visiting the state s largest island -- even as geologists warn the volcano could soon shoot large boulders out of its summit.
