PASSADUMKEAG 鈥?Betty J. Clements, 70, wife of Howard Clements Jr., passed away Sept. 30, 2010. She was born Sept. 5, 1940, in Howland, the daughter of Harry and Virginia Boofie Brown McCann. Betty will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was also a wonderful example of her Christian faith. She loved to cook. She was patient, loving and kind to all who knew her. She will be thought of daily and sadly missed. In addition to her husband of 51 years, Howard, she is survived by three children, Steven and his wife, Sheila, of Passadumkeag, Karen and her husband, Daniel Batchelder, of Edi stanley thermos nburg and Wanda and her husband, Timothy Crosby, of Passadumkeag; seven grandchildren, Andrew and his wife, Gina, Michelle and her husba stanley vaso nd, Ben, Darren, Melissa, Ashley, Amanda and Austin; a great-granddaughter, Kailyn; and five sisters, Sally Nickerson and husband, Wayne, Blandine Crosby and husband, Fred, all of Passadumkeag, Geneva Gellman and husband, Gene, of Fayetteville, Pa., Etta Penney of Howland and Margaret Roy and husband, Russ, of Hampden. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Bruce Stevens officiating.
