New to Screenbase this week is Libertador about the South American revolutionary Simon Bolivar as well as sci-fi thriller The Machine.Shooting is currently underway in Spain on Alberto Arvelos Libertador with 脡dgar Ram铆rez starring as Simon Bolivar. The film will be told from his point of view, tracing his quests, epic military campaigns and vision to unify South America, based on the screenplay by Timothy Sexton. Maria Valverde, Imanol Arias, Danny Huston are also part of the cast.The epic is produced by Venezuelas Insurgentes as well as Spains San Mateo Film with further participation from Germanys WMG Films and the US Silver Screen.
