Bombardier has received European and US approval for the Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 integrated flight deck and aircraft window modifications in its Challenger 605 business jet. The approvals complete the initial certification effort for the large cabin aircraft which is scheduled to enter service next year. The Challenger 605 was launched a year ago as a replacement to the best-selling 604 model,the last of which is being completed in the US by Midcoast Aviation and is earmarked for delivery in the second quarter of 2007.The owala water bottle 605 model offers a redesigned cabin and larger windows but the biggest change is the Collins Pro Line 21 flightdeck, the sam yeezy mx e integrated avionics as the smaller Challenger 300. Four 255 x 305mm 10 x 12in liquid-crystal displays replace the 604s smaller cathode-ray tube af1 s and provide 55% more display area. New primary flight display features include full-width artificial horizon, stall indication, flightpath vector and angle-of-attack gauge. Electronic Jeppesen charts on the multifunction display are introduced as standard on the 605. An arm-mounted touchscreen on the co-pilots side console, which controls the new Collins Airshow 21 cabin electronic system, can also display geo-referenced charts.The cabin is redesigned to add more width, while galley storage space is increased and lavatory ergonomics improved. More reliable and durable LED cabin lighting has also been introduced. International Film Festival Rotterdam IFFR unveils Signals line-up including a tribute to Korean director Jang Jin and a focus on artist Bruce McClure.International Film Festival Rotterdam IFFR has confirmed the Signals programme for its upcoming 44th edition Jan 21 - Feb 1 .The final programme includes a tribute to Korean director Jang Jin, a focus on artist and filmmaker Bruce Mc yeti cup Clure and Made in Taiwan, a special addition to the annual Regained section.Jang Jin is one of South Koreas most famous modern playwrights and theatre directors and his films have included gangster movies and rom-coms. IFFR will host a 13-strong retrospective of his films including the European premiere of We Are Brothers.IFFRs focus on Bruce McClure will see the av owala ant-garde artist present nine different performances on consecutive evenings under the generic title hydro flask website Opposition Brings Reunion. His presentation at Witte de With, Courting Daylight in Saving Darkness, is described as his most elaborate and expansive installation to date .Regained, which screens restored classics, forgotten cinematic masterpieces and documentaries that focus on cinema, will include the world premiere of Mobilisierung Der Tr盲ume by Martin Reinhart, Thomas Tode and Manu Luksch as well as Paul Sharits by Fran莽ois Miron.Made in Taiwan will be an addition to the section and includes documentary Flowers of Taipei, marking the 30th anniversary of the birth of Taiwan New Cinema.As previously announced, other sections include |
