The new president of Raisbeck Engineering sees big opportunity in the business of modifying Beechcraft King Airs.   Our message is, we take a really good airplane and make it better,  says Lynn Thomas, who took over as president of the Seattle-based company earlier this year.  Raisbeck s business consists of providing performa stanley flasche nce enhancements to aircraft, particularly the King Air.  The company s modifications include equipping King Airs with composite five-blade propellers, which it makes in concert with Hartzell Propeller. One candidate is running unopposed for a seat on the Brewer City Council that was left empty following the death of longtime councilor Jerry Goss聽in December 2023.Brewer will hold a special election to fill the position during the March 5 primaries, according to Vincent Migliore, Brewer city clerk. William Kimball, originally from Bangor, is running without competition to carry out the remainder of Goss term, which ends in November. Kimball attended Bangor High School, Husson University, the University of Maine and th stanley usa e Maine Technology Institute. He moved to Brewer in 2021 and owns a local heat pump company.
