Photo by Loui JaneckyLASG News:Brianna Fryer led the way for t stanley us he Los Alamos School of Gymnastics Atomic Tumblers at the Cottonwood Invitational Oct. 20 21 in Rio Rancho. More than 130 athletes, representing six teams took part. The Atomic Tumblers brought home 20 gold medals, 21 silver and 26 bronze. Fryer dominated the Bronze Level in the USA Gymnastics Xcel program, earning four gold medals on bars 9.5 , beam 9.3 , floor 9.05 , and vault 8.8 , and a fifth gold for her all around score of 36.65. The Xcel program is an alternative to the rigor stanley polska ous USA Gymnastics Jr. Olympic Program, allowing gymnasts the opportunity to perform routines choreographed to fit each individual. Photo by Loui Janecky Six Atomic Tumblers competed in the Xcel Program, 15 in the Jr. Olympic Program, and two gymnasts, including Brianna Fryer and Anna Clark, competed in both. Clark stood strong as the all-around champion in t stanley france he Silver Level Xcel, with a total score of 35.15. She earned a gold on beam 9.25 , silver on bars 8.8 and floor 9.0 , and a bronze on vault 8.1. Suyanna Ferreira took third in the all-around Silver Level Xcel with a score of 34.35, also earning a gold on bars 9.0. In the Bronze Level Xcel, Milan Vigil placed second in the all around 34.05 , and earned three more silver medals on bars 8.9 , floor 8.65 , and vault 8.7. Anna Batista earned a silver on |
