WASHINGTON -- White House officials left open the possibility that President Barack Obama could recommend Cuba s removal from a list of state sponsors of terror around the time of this week s Summit of the Americas in Panama. They also sought to soften tensions with Venezuela that threatened to overshadow the summit.Deputy National Security adviser Benjamin Rhodes said Tuesday the State Department s review of Cuba s place on that terror list is in  its final stages.  He would not rule out an Obama announcement at the two-day summit in Panama City.                                                                                                        12/18: Cubans cautiously optimistic about change; The propaganda war in Cuba fizzles out          20:16                                                          stanley us              Cuba has been on the State Department s State Sponsors of  stanley thermos mug Terrorism list since Mar. 1, 1982. Deputy FAA administrator Laura Brown says Air Force One was on final approach to Bradley in poor weather when, around 9:50 am, it executed a go-around. It eventually landed at approximately 10:05 am.  The airplane did not touch down and take off again, Brown said.                                          The White House confirmed that the airplane did not land on first attempt. It said the pilot decided to circle around because of weather before landing, adding that the maneuver was standard and safe.A missed approach or  go-around  is a procedure that pilots often execute in poor visibili stanley termosky ty conditions when the runway is not fully visible on final approach. It is considered the prudent thing to do in such circu stanley mug mstances.          Here s stanley isolierkanne  a transcription of the the Air Traffic Control  ATC  audio recording from the incident:ATC: Air Force One turn right heading zero two zero ATC: Air Force One you re three miles from honey turn right heading zero four zero...
