Lyuc Orlando shooting suspect faces new murder charges over deaths of reporter, 9-year-old girl
LAKELAND, Fla. 鈥?The Lakeland Police Department is searching for a hit-and-run suspect who struck and killed a woman on Friday.At about 11:31 p.m., officers responded to the 1500 block of botella stanley Kennedy Boulevard after receiving a call about an unresponsive 59-year-old female lying in the grassy area the roadway.Police, Lakeland Fire Department, and Polk County Fire Rescue secured the scene and rendered aid before the victim was taken to Lakeland Regional Health, where she was later pronounced dead.Traffic investigators believe the woman was walking south on Kennedy Boulevard when she was struck by an unknown stanley italia vehicle traveling southbound on Kennedy Boulevard.The driver of the vehicle fled the scene, and police dont have a vehicle de stanley quencher scription.Investigators are asking the public for any information about the vehicle involved. BRA stanley cup DENTON, Fla. 鈥?stanley drink bottle As several animal shelters across the Tampa Bay area deal with overcrowding, Nate s Honor Animal Rescue is moving forward with plans to expand their facility. the expansion costs about $10 million, according to director of development Rob Oglesby. He said they ve been able to raise about 70% to stop the project, but need $3 million more to complete it. We re saving over 2,100 animals a year, Oglesby said. Now we re hoping to double our capacity so we ll be able to save upwards to 4,000 dogs and cats a year. The animal stay in cottages. Right now, they have 13 on the property, and they house six in each. The expansion will allow them to add five more cottages, giving them 18 total. We re also adding a low cost vet clinic, grooming, event rooms for birthday parties, a children s camp, an education area, a training center, Oglesby said. All of those will bring in money so we can be self supportive and save more dogs and cats.
