Halton police have switched to ClearMasks in an effort to remove a communications barrier faced by members of the Deaf community.As per the guidelines of public health officials and the Halton Regions mandatory mask bylaw, members of the Halton police have been wearing facemasks as they carry out their duties, howe kubki stanley ver, this has caused a problem as masks make it harder to lip read and understand sign language.In an effort to better serve the community while continuing to fight the spread of COVID-19, Halton police have announced their officers are now equipped with ClearMasks.
