Officials in California are warning of an increased stanley cup risk of the potentially deadly Valley fever following more reported cases and an outbreak at a music festival this year.The California Department of Public Health warned that residents and travelers to the Central Valley and Central Coast regions of California may be at higher risk of developing Valley fever thro stanley cup ugh the fall.Valley fever is an infectious disease caused by the coccidioides fungus, which grows in the soil and dirt in certain areas of California, CDPH said. Most people who are exposed to the fungus do not develop Valley fever, but it is possible for the fungus to infect the lungs and cause respiratory symptoms like a cough, difficulty breathing, fever and fatigue.Certain conditions may have led to an increased risk this year. Possible causes of this recent increase include winter rains afte stanley cup r several years of drought, an increase in soil disturbance activities including construction in high-risk areas, and increased disease recognition, testing and reporting, said CDPH in a press release. HELENA 鈥?Last Chance Audubon held a clean-up at Nature Park.Volunteers of the non-p adidas originals rofit environmental group gathered for a day of cleaning the park. The group comp mizuno leted another clean up at Nature Park last month and gathered close to 500 pounds of trash.In this clean up, they collected close to 200 pounds. Last Chance Audubon has partnered with the City of Helena to deliver the trash by dropping it off near a trail for the city to come pick up the same day.Last Chance Audubon says this opportunity to clean the waterways in the park is one that benefits all species. It makes us feel real good, and we as birders are out here a lot and so we don t have to look at that trash. It makes us feel better when we are out here in a more pristine nature environment, says Janice Miller, the President of Last Chance Audubon.The group also bagged almost 300 pounds of trash from the K-mart ponds.
