Clarksville, TN Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County, was joined by more than 50 friends and supporters to dedicate a new home on Saturday, May 13th in New Providence.The blessing and key presentation for Estelle Judith Kamsu and her three children resulted from 18 months of work that began in the fall in 2021 when they applied for the Habitat home-buying program.Several years ago, the Kamsu family was displaced by a house fire and was later denied a home loan due to insufficien stanley mexico t income, which is a reality for many lower-income residents in Clarksville.Clarksville Mayor Joe Pitts noted these challenges in his remarks; Without Habitat, there ;d be very little or no affordable housing being done in Montgomery County, he said. APSU Sports: Austin Peay Women Track and FieldClarksville, TN Senior Chantelle Grey will represent Austin Peay State University women track and field team at this weekend Alex Wilson Invitational, hosted by Notre Dame, in an attempt to qualify for the NCAA Indoor Championships.Grey will compete in Saturday 800m run, in a six-heat field pitting her against some of the top middle distance runners in the nation.Comi termos stanley ng into the weekend, Grey ranks 47th nationally in the event, based on her 2:07.69 mark achieved three weeks ago at the Spire Invitational.
