The government will hold one more month of consultations with Akamas communities bef stanley fr ore the formal publication of its plan for the area, a peninsula of h stanley thermos igh environmental importance.The decision was made during a meeting between the leaders of the communities with President Nicos Anastasiades to whom they expressed their demand for more development to be allowed in the area. The conclusion of todays meeting is that November will be the month of final consultations between the ministers of interior and agriculture and the leaders of the Akamas area so that we go ahead with the final publication of the plan in December,  Interior Minister Nicos Nouris said.Nouris said the meeting discussed the sticking points that remained  which mostly concern development issues that must be in line with the environmental policies. The minister said the government had to balance between granting development rights and adhering to the rules stipulated by environmental legislation.Nouris said they were close to publishing the plan in December.Agriculture Minister Costas Kadis said the solutions being discussed were within the parameters of sustainability, providing  substantive protection to the unique natural environment of the area, respect European directives, and at the same time afforded the communities the potential to benefit from the operation of a modern national park. BANGOR, Maine 鈥?A Brewer man charged with injuring his then 13-week-old daughter in May pleaded guilty Tuesday to Class D assault at the Penobscot Judicial Center.In a plea agreement with prosecutors, James Frank, 23, was sentenced to 364 days in stanley cups  jail 鈥?the maximum sentence for a Class D crime 鈥?with all but 30 days suspended, according to his attorney, Jeffrey Silverstein of Bangor. Frank also was sentenced to one year of probation.Frank originally was charged with Class B aggravated assault and Class C assault. If convicted of the more serious charge, he would have faced up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $20,000. A conviction on the Class C charge would have carried a maximum penalty of up to five years in prison and a fine of up to $5,000.The child suffered a head injury consistent with a  stanley website shaking episode, according to court documents. The girl also had bruising on both sides of her lower abdomen consistent with the outline of fingers, a bruise on her right shoulder and another on the left side of her chin.Now 5 months old, the baby has completely recovered, Silverstein said Tuesday.
