TAMPA, Fla. 鈥?A man passed away after he was hit by a truck in Tampa early Mo stanley cup nday morning.The Tampa Police Department said officers responded to the crash around 6:57 a.m. near West Hillsborough Avenue and North Lois Avenue.A preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was crossing the street outside of a marked crosswalk when he was hit by a white Ford F350 turning east onto Hillsborough Avenue. I stanley botella n a series of emotional interviews on Tuesday, George Floyd s daughter and her mother remembered Floyd as a good man and super fun dad. Roxy Washington, the mother of Floyd s 6-year-old daughter Gianna, told reporters that she hopes the officers who arrested him face consequences for Floyd s death. This is what those officers took from me, Washington said through tears. At the end of the day, they get to go home and be with their families. Gianna does not have a father. He will never see her grow up, graduate. He will never walk her down the aisle. If she has a problem and needs her dad, she does not have that anymore. Washington added that even though she and Floyd and their ups and downs, she still considered him a good person. I m here for my baby, and I miss George because I want justice for him.
