About 316 elementary school students in Dufferin County have been sent home with letters advising they wont be allowed to return on Wednesday, Jan. 31.In late November, Wellin stanley cups uk gton-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health WDGPH reported a total of 1,148 of Dufferin Countys elementary school students hadnt updated their immunization records. Any students missing vaccines or who havent updated their records with WDGPH by Jan. 26 are facing suspension.The health unit reports the immunization records for 316 local students in Orangeville 191 , Shelburne 82 , Mulmur 20 , Grand Valley 13 and Mono 10 have yet to be updated with WDGPH. Any students with a letter will not be able to return to school on Wednesday. Another 462 high school students in Orangeville and Shelburne are also facing suspension for the same reason. However, the deadline to update their immunization records with WDGPH is Friday, April 6.
